What's in the eBook

Basic Crochet Techniques

Everything from how to start a project, work simple stitches, change colors, and finish your piece neatly.

Beginner Friendly Patterns

The book has 12 patterns that are perfect for beginners and easy to make. These patterns use all the skills you learn in the book and guide you through step by step pictures to make awesome stuff!

Bonus Tips, Guides, and Videos

Every lesson and pattern in the book has an accompanying video to walk you through the process. And the first few pages are dedicated to starting you off with the right materials, advice and a helpful sizing guide!

The Getting Started Section

This part contains all the materials and tools I use so you can follow along exactly. It also includes some tips on choosing yarn and other general tips and advice to help you along. There are some more informational pages here, as well, like a hat sizing guide and a list of abbreviations used in the book.

The Tutorials Section

The second part of the book focuses on teaching the basics and showing you how to work each step. There are 12 lessons in total. It covers everything from how to start with a slipknot and foundation chain, to working in the round, changing colors, binding off, increasing/decreasing, and even 2 ways to join pieces together!

Each lesson has step by step pictures and a video to help you out.

The Patterns Section

This section is my favorite and the one I think most of you will like the best too. Here, I have 12 easy patterns (like this coaster!) to practice your new skills on. Each pattern uses only the skills mentioned in the tutorials section and all of the patterns are fun and simple items that you'll actually want to use once you're done.

Like the tutorials, each pattern has step by step pictures, a written pattern and a video to walk you through the project. The patterns also include all the sizing information, the exact yarn and materials I used (including links to buy them yourself) and an overview of the skills used in that pattern.
