Do you dream of a home that is not only BEAUTIFUL but also full of HEART & SOUL?
DOES YOUR HOME CURRENTLY FEEL
Is it missing that special spark that lights you up every time you walk through the door?
Is it filled with all the latest decorating trends...none of which feel like YOU?
How do I know? Because after pouring a little of my heart, soul, and creativity into my home, it was featured in a magazine. And now I want to share with you the five steps I took to create a home that was not only magazine worthy but also meant so much to me.
Fresh out of college and with a head full of dreams, I packed my bags, moved to the big city and began my first corporate career. Within months, instead of the walls of a cubicle, I dreamed of wandering flea markets, hunting down beautiful time-worn pieces and decorating my surroundings. Each piece I dressed with my creativity, brought me (and my home) back to life and eventually I knew the world of furniture, fabric and design was where I belonged. Since then, some pretty amazing things have happened - I spent four months studying furniture upholstery in the UK, I launched my blog, I’ve sold my creations at vintage flea markets, I had my home featured in Cottage Country magazine and I am once again headed back to the UK (this time to study interior design at London Metropolitan University!)
Along this journey, I have realized that the best way to create a home that feeds your soul is by filling it with items that show off your creativity, honor who you are and remind you of all the beautiful moments you’ve shared. It was in this thought that Lost in the Found was created.
