Sandra is a freelance travel writer and blogger born in the Azores and based in Lisbon. She is also a regular contributor to several online publications, including the prestigious Lonely Planet and the world's most famous flight deals search engine, Skyscanner.
She founded Tripper in 2014 as a blog on sustainable cultural tourism to offbeat destinations, highlighting local culture and local businesses, to inspire and inform independent travelers who seek authenticity and wish to have a positive impact in their destination. Most of the content focuses on the destinations’ cultural diversity, historical richness and the communities that help to build and sustain it.
Although she arrives at a destination with an idea of a story on the back of her mind, often it's the story that finds her.
Unless life gets in the way, you'll receive an email with the latest blog posts on the last day of every month.
Time is precious and spam is annoying, this means that:
1) The email address you just shared with me won't be shared with anyone else.
2) I don't send you more than one email a month (upcoming events and special deals will be shared on social media).
In the meantime, feel free to email me with questions, suggestions or just to say hello.
