The Dutch Golf Classic has been organized by the Dutch Business Association in Vietnam (DBAV) for the past 12 years. For the last five years, we have included a charity fundraising event after the tournament. Continuing the tradition and beyond, DBAV is delighted to introduce the 12th Dutch Golf Classic 2022.
This year, we are pleased to co-host the event with the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (Auscham), the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (EuroCham), the German Business Association (GBA), the Italian Chamber of Commerce (Icham), the Central and Eastern European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (CEEC), the Belgian – Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (BeluxCham), and The Council of Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce (CTCVN).
We are expecting ±100 participants from the Dutch, European and Australian business communities as well as many Vietnamese businessmen/women and representatives from other business communities in Vietnam to participate in this year's event.

Golf Tournament
Format: Texas 2 Man Scramble - Stableford points
- The scramble format involves 2-person teams where each player on the team hits a tee shot, and then the players decide which shot they like better. The two players then play from that spot.
- Handicap: Players with handicap, indicate so at registration. Players with no handicap, we use handicap 36
- Flight with 3 people applied the 3-man scramble.
- Gimme Circle - Any putt finishing in the circle is to be given & that stroke is to be counted
Rules of Golf:
- Individual Players of each team can drive maximum 6 holes out of 18 holes, to ensure that teams are forced to use drives of other players as well
- If player A is indicated to have best ball, then player A cannot
participate in the next shot. That is up to player B, C and D.
All play shall be in accordance with the Rules of Golf as approved by the R & A Rules Limited, USGA and the local rules of Song Be Golf Resort. Entrants must conform in all respects to the Rules of Amateur Status as approved by R & A Rules limited and USGA
Along with the Tournament, the Golf Clinic starts at 14:30 helping those new to the game experience get the ultimate enjoyment of golf while learning the fundamentals— full swing, chipping, and putting. A PGA Professional teaches you basic etiquette and the rules of the game.
Business Networking Drinks & Charity Auction Dinner
This comes later at Song Be Golf Resort where we all gather to network and award the tournament winners as well as participate in a meaningful Charity Auction Dinner where we raise funds to support the Blue Dragon Children's Foundation in helping street kids and rescues victims from slavery and human trafficking in Vietnam.

Most of the children have been with their parents on the streets working or begging. They never dreamt of a day that they could go to school. Because of you, they can go to kindergarten or primary schools.
As these children come from disadvantaged background of working on the streets with their parents and receiving little care because of financial burden on their parents, they have not developed the necessary social skills and behaviours. Many of them would become aggressive and frustrated as they don't know how to express their emotions, or communicate their needs and desires. Your support also providing social and emotional leaning classes so that they can gradually learn how to name their emotions and needs and how to communicate with others.
These are all essential skills for school and for life.

Tickets
The tournament prices are inclusive of green & facilities fees, the caddy fee, the buggy fee, drinks, lunch, dinner, and transportation from HCMC. Other personal fees (club, bag rental, etc) are not included.
The clinic prices are inclusive of the golf professional’s fees, clubs, drinks, dinner, and transportation from HCMC.
