If we haven’t met, I am Ileana, Naturopathic Nutritionist & Clinical Specialist Pharmacist and founder of Holistic Healthcare Ltd. I have over 18 years of experience in clinical pharmacy and naturopathic medicine. After retiring about a year ago, I went on “vacation” mode. Although I got lots of exercise in my favorite sports, I was in a party mode and eating more sicks and social drinking. I gained weight. I decided I wanted to lose the weight and did make some changes on my own, but over time, my weight plateaued.

Through this program I was able to identify and remove foods I am sensitive to, look at problem eating patterns more objectively and accelerate my weight loss. In addition, my joint pain and bloating went away. I am less sluggish in the morning and in general look and feel better.

I really liked having a plan and the coaching to get past my resistance to change some of my unhealthy habits. This, along with being able to check-in made me feel committed. I loved that I received detailed well-organized handouts, along with the audio, of our training sessions, so I could review the materials as needed. I created this detox program for several reasons:

First and foremost I believe detoxification is an important key to recovery from chronic illnesses and disease prevention. Imagine a seesaw. On one end is 'HEALTHY' =  good nutrition, regular exercise, good genetics, loving relationships & positive emotion and rest. On the other end 'UNHEALTHY' = poor genetics, toxins, poor nutrition , lack of rest etc.  When the balance is tipped into the unhealthy side , which can be caused by  a virus, toxic chemical exposures like heavy metals (we call this 'the straw that breaks the camel's back) - diseases might appear.

Life gets in the way of a healthy and nutritional lifestyle. While we might be motivated when we begin, it’s easy to fall back into old habits.

My clients have  been getting excellent results on the 30 day paleo reset diet so combining that with a detox I believe can significantly jump start your health.

Even though I believe in simple and gentle detoxes, detoxing can be tough to do on your own. This program is designed to give you the support you need as you go through the process.

Having gone through several detoxes, I often found I had questions along the way and wished I had a coach I could go to for direction.
