I started off investing in property since year 2009 & like everyone else, I either bought the properties to flip and some to rent them out.

Back in year 2010-2014, when our local property market was on a buoyant cycle, getting a long term tenant for each of my properties were easy.  Void period was averagely less than a month, before  my property was rented out again.

Our local property scene just nose-dived from the PEAK to the PIT!  Suddenly, many properties owners like myself, find that they were STRANDED with many properties on their hand.  Couldn’t flip nor rent it out even by slashing down their asking prices.  Void period grown from 1 month to months and some even years.
