I'm a voracious reader, and I might have stayed just a reader if I hadn't become a mother. But once I had a child, I felt compelled to give her smart, strong women that she could look up to.
That's why I started writing BECKONED.
Now I write for the pure joy of it, although my books are still full of characters that are inspired by people I've met and experiences I've had laced with a heavy dose of food and travel.
