afghanistan veterans for change logo

Please join me and other veterans in building a community to support the people of Afghanistan.

The events of the last few weeks have shocked and angered me, just as the events of 9/11 did many years ago. One thing I have realized is that I am not alone.

There is a community of us that are angered and disappointed in the state of our zero-sum politics, the state of our public discourse, and the shirking of our responsibility in the world. This community is hungry for change. It is non-partisan. It is made up of veterans, friends and families of veterans, and anyone who knows we can and must do better.

9/11 changed the world in profound and irreversible ways. At this point of reflection we must ask ourselves has our society lived up to our moment. Does the state of our society, political dynamic, and our place in the world meet our expectations.. the expectations we hold for our children?

“Never forget” means more than annual remembrances, it is a call to action.

An Afghan proverb says, “A river is made drop by drop.” If you feel we can and must do better, please join me in building this community. Together we can make this river of change. Please subscribe to stay updated on how we can all support the people of Afghanistan.

Respectfully,
