Praise for the original release of Healer's Blade (as Forbidden Ties)

The characters all have a lot of depth, and if it was possible to step through a time portal, I have no doubt I could easily run into them. Wang does an excellent job of bringing historical England to life, and I quickly got lost in both the book and the world it takes place in. She has a wonderful way with imagery, making it easy to see and hear everything going on. Cannot recommend this enough!
