Learning the methods of finding FISH (Fulfilment, Inspiration, Success and Happiness) so that you can celebrate being your best.
Guided by purpose and values, and the realisation that we are all only as fulfilled as our most recent greatest imaginable challenge. I use these principles, along with strengths-based development, as the cornerstones of my coaching for both individuals and businesses.
With our purpose and our values – and the fact that they are fluid and grow with us throughout life – we can now set out on the journey of finding FISH. This is not an arduous task, nor something you can get right or wrong. This is something to bring you joy. As we move through this chapter, we’ll learn how to score your FISH and how to order them. At different times, different parts of FISH will have different priorities for you, and this is completely normal. Fulfilment, inspiration, success, and happiness are all very personal, which is why you must understand your purpose, your values, what inspires you, how you experience and measure success, and what makes you happy in any given moment.

What an impressive read. The best way, I found, to read your book was lying on the couch with the fire roaring and not having to move until I read the last page. Now I want to spend heaps of time considering your questions. Love the idea of finding fish, thinking about fish, ranking fish every day. Love the idea of strength-based living. I must say I laughed, I cried, I sighed, I smiled. I feel so grateful to you, that you spent your time writing such a wonderful book so that I could read it. Got to say the only thing that was missing was the disclaimer that tissues may be needed
Whilst you can see yourself within the Joy of Finding FISH chapters, Chapter 4 helps curate what this looks like for oneself and the bespoke pathways we each take. Powerful questions, revelation insights and relatable anecdotes help focus the lens of reflection on starting to make tangible steps today to create a life I am proud of.
Chris is able to break down the concept of creating Purpose and Values in a way that doesn’t feel like a ‘pressure cooker’ situation to ‘get it right’ or think they aren’t ‘big enough’. He also helps you identify, if you already have values, why you may not feel aligned or are in conflict with them.
