I'm a scientist turned keen yoga student and eventually a yoga teacher. Yoga has been my safe haven through health struggles, tough times and life transitions (like actually quitting science!).
With mental health problems and burnout rising in academia, I don't believe that the chronic stress burden of your academic career should be normalized and considered something you "just have to live with". That's why I'm passionate about using yoga tools and practices to help busy, ambitious, and overwhelmed scientists and academics process stress, deal with anxiety and burnout and lead balanced, joyful and fulfilled lives.
