Who is The Creative Spirals good for?

Busy artists, musicians, filmmakers, painters, crafters, dancers - whether you're a professional or just a dabbler, it's for anyone who wants to make creativity a daily habit but struggle to actually find the time and make it a priority. It's also useful for people with ADHD or ADHD-like symptoms, where community can step in when executive functioning doesn't work.

Is someone really available 24/7? Like at 2 a.m. when inspiration strikes?

Yes! When you join The Creative Spirals Focusmate group, we will be sure you get matched with another member of the group first. But if no one is around at the hour that works for you, we will search through the wider global Focusmate community and pair you with someone who is. So someone who is writing a book in Pakistan could be paired up with a musician in California, at whatever hour works best for both of them.

Can I pick who I pair with?

Right now it's at random, prioritizing by the time people are available. Soon we'll be building a membership directory so if you want to pair with someone particular, you can.

Will I need to be on camera?

Yes - that's one of the rules Focusmate requires in order to increase accountability and safety for the global network.

How much does it cost?

It is currently free to join The Creative Spirals network, and free to book up to 3 Focusmate co-working sessions per week. For unlimited booking, you'll just upgrade your Focusmate account to $6.99 a month.

Truth be told, it actually costs us some money to run this group, so it will not be free forever. But if you sign up now during our limited trial run, it will be free for you forever.
