With Death & Dying Companion, Alice Toohey
A 4-Week Gathering on Death, Legacy & Living With Presence offered in-person and online — September 2025
This is a gentle space to turn toward death with clarity, care, and curiosity. Each session includes discussion of a theme, guided reflection, and optional group sharing. This workshop is for anyone who wishes to approach death in a supported way with the intention leading to a more meaningful and present life. No prior experience or specific beliefs are required—just an open heart and a willingness to explore.
Together, we'll delve into the emotional, spiritual, and practical work involved in tending to both death and life, structured around four essential themes:
IN-PERSON Mondays, Sept 8–29 · 6:30–8:00pm - Quaker Meeting House, 1837 Forest Ave, Portland, ME
ONLINE: Sundays, Sept 14 – Oct 12 · 4:00–5:30pm ET (No session Sept 21) Zoom
An optional integration circle/potluck is planned for the in-person group on Oct 20, and the online group on Oct 26.
Sliding Scale: $100–$200 suggested. All payment amounts accepted.
