Welcome, dear applicant and business enthusiast,

Below you can submit your business idea for the Pitching Contest in the framework of the EU flagship event EU Industry Days 2022. Four finalists will be selected to pitch their idea to jury and audience (live and online) on 10 February 2022 in Brussels at the EU Industry Days event.

We are welcoming all business ideas that support the transition to a sustainable, digital and resilient economy.

IMPORTANT

  • If you will be amongst the 4 selected finalists, we will cover your travel from an EU country to Brussels as well as the accommodation costs. Please make sure you can be available to pitch your business idea in Brussels on the 10 February 2022 and that you have a valid Covid-19 certificate at that time.
  • Applications are open to EU citizens aged below 30 years old.
  • In order to make the application easier to fill out, we added some general recommendations, but feel free to be as creative as possible in your answers.
  • All questions are required to be filled out and each answer will be evaluated by our team.
  • Before applying, we recommend to prepare the answers in a word document. Once your application is submitted, it cannot be changed.
  • From mid-January 2022, all applicants are invited to register separately also to the EU Industry Days event itself - as the audience or finalists.

     GDPR COMPLIANCY

    Your data will only be shared with the jury and representatives of the European Commission for the pre-selection of the finalists and will be treated in compliance with current data protection regulation. Your personal information will be deleted 2 weeks after the event.

    NEXT STEPS & TIMELINE

    You will be informed whether you have been selected for the final contest no later than the 21 January 2022. We are organizing two online trainings for the finalists. Make sure you already mark in your calendar the timeslot for the group pitch workshop for finalists (25 January 2022, 15:00-17.00 CEST). 

    As for the individual coaching session, in the email the selected finalists receive, a link will be included via which you can book a timeslot. See the timeline below for an overview of the steps.
