You pride yourself on being a dedicated hard worker. The one people rely on to go the extra mile. You come in early and stay late to make sure deadlines aren't missed. You take on a majority of the responsibilities at home to make sure your family has everything they need. Through your dedication, hard work and perseverance you've been able to achieve so much in your career.
On the outside, it looks like you have everything that someone would want. But on the inside you feel like a hot mess and can’t get rid of the nagging voice telling you that you didn’t actually earn this success. It whispers that you only got as far as you did through sheer luck. So, you do what you do best, you buckle down and work harder.
But as you got closer to your goals, you hit a wall. You realized that you were stressed and feeling so overwhelmed both at home and at work. And for a while now, with your endless list of to-do’s, it’s getting harder to feel like you've actually accomplished anything.
Chasing the goal used to be exciting and fun. When you reached that goal it used to make you feel proud and good about yourself, but now it feels more like a game, like a hustle. Where you do more and more to try to quiet the voice that tells you that you’re not enough.
It feels a bit like chasing a plastic bag in the wind. Every time you think you're getting closer the wind picks up and the goal line ends up moving farther away.
The pressure you feel is suffocating. You’ve read all the self-help books. You've listened to a few podcasts and watched a Netflix special or two. You know the importance of vulnerability and know you should reach out, but you still find yourself at events and get-togethers surrounded by people and feeling so alone.
You're tired of the constant striving. You feel defeated. And frustrated. And overwhelmed. You know in your head that your worth isn’t tied up in all these accomplishments but you can’t help feeling like a failure when you get that one piece of negative feedback.
You’ve learned a lot about yourself over the years. You’re positive that if you just knew the right things to do, you’d feel so much more confident and less stressed. You need to cut through all the noise out there and find clear effective action steps that you can take and apply in your life.
You’re ready for step-by-step guidance that is going to walk you through what you need to do to stop the inner critic so that you can feel more confident and have better relationships.
It isn't a one-time workshop or event where you're learning high-level concepts and vague strategies. You won't be left out in the wind to sort out the information alone, wondering how to apply it in your life. You won't be inundated with lesson plans filled with videos of an instructor droning on reading slides.
You won't be sitting in a room talking with strangers about your darkest fears. You won't be processing and talking through your past traumas and triggers. While the content is influenced by evidenced based modalities such as DBT/RO-DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy/Radically Open DBT), CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy) and Neuroscience it is psycho-educational in nature focused on gaining skills.
You will learn concrete strategies and skills to be able to adapt to an ever-changing environment with receptivity and openness. Through the process of self-enquiry we will practice leaning into challenges with curiosity instead of defensiveness. Through an integrated mindfulness practice we will gain better insight into our own thoughts, connect with our inner wisdom and learn to let go of inflexibility.
Class size is limited and you will work hand-in-hand with me and a few individuals to improve your emotional well-being. Learn with and from others through live online classes. Classes will be recorded so if you can't make it to a live class you can watch and listen when it’s convenient for you.
You will also have access to me and an exclusive supportive community through our classroom Study Hall.
You will learn skills to quiet your inner critic and get a handle on imposter syndrome. You will learn strategies backed in neuroscience and research to increase neuro-plasticity to re-wire your brain and boost your confidence.
You will gain tangible solution focused skills that you can apply in all parts of life. You will learn evidence based strategies to help you handle stress more effectively, strengthen a growth mindset, foster self-compassion and improve communication.
You will get an exclusive workbook designed to help support and integrate learning into your everyday life. In between classes you will have access to weekly journal prompts to help you take a deeper dive and lean into the lessons with curiosity. You will get access to various mindfulness practices to finally be able to take control of your mind, instead of your mind controlling you. You will master strategies that you can use over and over again no matter what challenges life throws your way.
Emotional well-being involves the interaction and use of receptivity & openness, flexible control & social connection. ANSWER: Finding the Middle Path offers a 26 week program with a rolling admission. Admission is timed with the start of a module. The first open enrollment begins now through January 17, 2020 with classes starting February 2,2020. The next open enrollment and class dates will be announced at a later date and is based on space available as well as the start of the next module.

QUESTION: How long will I have access to the lessons?
ANSWER: You will have lifetime access to the course content. Each time I update the course you will receive an email about the latest version and will be able to log in and see what's new. However, we will only have the live interactive classes for the 20 weeks the program is live.
QUESTION: I've never been through an online program before, what should I expect?
ANSWER: Finding the Middle Path is different than your typical online course. Over 20 weeks you will meet with me and the class live in an online interactive video session for one hour on Sundays at 3-4 pm EST/12-1 pm PST.
The class will be recorded for students that are unable to attend. You will also get an exclusive companion workbook with all the worksheets and handouts to go along with the class. No more having to print everything at home. At the end of each class you will get assignments designed to help you integrate learning. You will have access to a private study hall where you can get feedback on homework and ask questions about skills. Each week you'll have the opportunity to extend learning in between classes by participating in journal prompts and mindfulness exercises.
QUESTION: Do I need any special equipment?
ANSWER: You will need a computer or smart device with a camera and microphone, access to internet, and a quiet comfortable place to access the class. A favorite pen, a cozy blanket and snacks are also nice to have :)
We will be using Zoom for our live interactive classes. This way you can see my multi-media lesson material and the rest of the group at the same time. We will have access to voice, text chat as well as view each other on video. If you use your desktop/laptop computer to access the live sessions, you will not need to do anything else. If you use your phone or a tablet, you will need to download the FREE app.
We will be using Teachable to access the replays, pdf versions of the class material and the Study Hall.
QUESTION: Do you accept insurance?
ANSWER: The program is psycho-education in nature and is generally not covered by insurance. However, you may want to call your insurance carrier to see if some or all of your tuition costs may be reimbursed. You may also wish to contact your doctor to obtain a letter of medical necessity for health related classes and contact your health insurance carrier, HSA (Health Savings Account) or FSA (Flexible Spending Account) administrator to see if this will allow you to be reimbursed for your tuition costs.
