What is declared value?
Declared value is the value passed by the customer via integration / api or an specific value the customer wish to be covered

What is portal value?
Portal value is the custom value shown on the Floship Portal

How do I set the declared value?
The default declared value is commercial invoice value plus estimated shipping cost. If you wish to upload an alternative declared value via API or bulk upload, please communicate with your account manager

What countries are not covered by this insurance?
Afghanistan, Africa (except South Africa), Albania, Belarus, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Burundi, Central African Republic, Croatia, Cuba, Democratic Republic of Congo, Egypt, Eritrea, Guinea- Bissau, Iran, Iraq, Kosovo, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Macedonia, Mali, Montenegro, North Korea, Republic of Guinea, Serbia, Slovenia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, Ukraine, Venezuela, Vojvodina, Yemen, Zimbabwe, US & UN trade sanction countries

Are there any commodities not covered in this insurance?
The following items are excluded: Accounts receivable, fish meal, nuclear fuel and substances, stamps, deeds, notes, lottery tickets and gambling devices, precious metals (bullion, balls, bars, grains, strip, sheet, wire, chain, ingots and the scrap of these metals), securities, evidence of debt, and any form of currency (bills and coins)
