Hi, I'm Susan May, long time homeschool mom..
All 3 of our children (18, 15, and 9 years old) have been homeschooled their whole lives.
Our nonspeaking child is our baby. Thankfully, I learned with his big sister and brother to slow down and not worry about how the rest of the world does things. That gave us time to figure out what was the right path for him and us!
In April 2024 I founded Nonspeakers Homeschool Support (NHS) with my partner, April Boden.
Since then, NHS has been steadily growing and supporting more and more families on their journeys to communication and education with their non/unreliably speaking children.
