Who is it for

The session works best with

  • Schools who have plans to focus on trauma informed practise and children's mental health in the next academic year
  • Those who recognise that challenges with behaviour often link to trauma adversity and stress (this includes children who are tired and overusing technology)
  • Schools who want to know what they can do to help their children and develop their staffs practise and knowledge
  • Those who want to come away from outdated punitive, punishment based behaviour management but need to know what else they can do without loosing all consistency and boundaries
  • A leadership team who wants to develop their students emotional intelligence skills and self-regulating skills

What is included

Schools and trusts have an opportunity to book a 2-hour online session on select Tuesdays with Shahana between May and July in anticipation of their plans for September 2026.

The session will begin with an opportunity to talk to Shahana about your school the challenges you’re finding and your current approaches. Shahana will then do a taught segment looking at

*Childhood today, stress, technology and trauma

*The impact on the brain, mental health and outcomes

*Why conventional approaches to behaviour don’t always work

*What you can do to make a real difference

The session will then end with some discussion and 3 key actions for your school

Please be aware that there are a limited number of sessions available and sessions will be offered on a first come first set of basis.
