This was quite good and picked up where book one left off. This book is about Cade working his program and doing his best to overcome his alcoholism, and Francesca is working hard to build her law firm.
It is a sweet love story and so worth the read. I would definitely recommend reading book one before this one or you will be lost.
Hero is committed in this book but back before book one he was a major player, man-whore deluxe.
Highly recommend this series.
I loved Mangled Hearts, so I am beyond happy that Francesca & Cade get their own novella! I will say though, this did not seem like a novella...
As is Felicia's way, her character development is amazing! I was deeply invested in this story...
I believe even more so than I was in Mangled Hearts. We see the pain of dealing with one's past, knowing that they need to, to be able to move forward into their future.
What a wonderful book! It is nice to witness that love really does conquer most anything,

Felicia has a knack for putting so much into such a small space, this series is one of my favourites as with this one she doesn't leave me with cliffhangers!
