Czechia was pushing Sweden really hard from the beginning. At the halftime Sršni (🇨🇿) already had a huge lead until after the third quarter when BK Rig (🇸🇪) made a big twist in their play. Thanks to the sequence of 3 points they almost caught up with their opponent. Although in the end Hornets came out victorious.  Sršni vletěli do prvního utkání po hlavě! Švédi se ale nedali výhru zadarmo a hlavně v závěru to ale byla těsná a nadupaná hra!

Sršni Písek 80:63 IBA München

Hornets started the game strong with three goals. Although they managed multiple times to be 8-10 points ahead, IBAM always caught up with them. After the halftime Hornets refined their 3 point throws and even though they played with smaller numbers, they achieved the victory on rebounds. Sršni odstartovali zápas se silným nástupem a rovnou třemi koši. Přestože v prvním poločase několikrát vedli o 8-10 bodů, IBAMu se vždy podařilo je dohnat. V druhé polovině Sršni zostřili své trojky a přestože hráli v menším složení, dosáhli vítězství na doskocích.

BK Rig 72:91 Valencia Basket

Valencia vs. BK Rig was a game full of beautiful plays! Valencia started off better, but BK Rig caught up very fast and for most of the game held very close behind Valencia. It was till the end of third quarter when Valencia made a 10 points lead ahead. In the end Valencia managed to add up to their lead and ended up the match with a very solid score. Valencia vs BK Rig bylo utkání plné krásných akcí. Valencia měla lepší start, ale BK ji brzo dohnali a po většinu hry se drželi v těsné blízkosti. Až po třetí čtvrtině se Valenci podařilo náskok navýšit o 10 bodů. Na konci se vedoucí straně podařilo skóre ještě o více bodů navýšit a vítězně tak ukončit celý zápas.

Valencia Basket 88:93 IBA München

This game was all about pressure. In the first half Internationale Basketball Akademie München gained a lead thanks to many beautiful actions. At times they even achieved a 20 points gap. Even though L'Alqueria del Basket del Valencia Basket Club was being pushed to losses, they managed to catch up with their opponents thanks to refined 3 points shots and switching to zone defense. It was a very tight game till the last few minutes. Tento zápas byl o velkém tlaku. V první polovině IBAM získali náskok 20 bodů díky mnoha pěkným akcím. Přestože byla Valencia tlačena ke ztrátám, podařilo se jim hru vyrovnat díky několika trojkám a přechodu do zónové obrany. Až do posledních minut to byl vyrovnaný zápas.

IBA München 68:72 BK Rig

This game was so tense! The stakes were high for BK Rig and they sure went all-in. Until the last minutes both teams were pretty equal. We could have seen few fouls, great shots and awesome gameplay. After all the losses and stress BK Rig managed to win the game for a huge comeback. Tahle hra byla opravdu napínavá! Týmu BK Rig šlo o vše a podle toho také hráli! Až do posledních minut měly týmy skóre vyrovnané. Během hry došlo k pár faulům, skvělým střelám a hlavně úžasným akcím. Po všech ztrátách a stresu, kterými si BK Rig museli projít si nyní mohou na účet připsat vítězství a velký comeback!

This was definitely the most pumped game of the whole group. Score was really tight for both sides till the last quarter where Sršni started firing shots against L'Alqueria del Basket del Valencia Basket Club like we’ve never seen from them before! They kept the lead until the end when they ended the game with a standing ovation of fans! Tohle byla určitě nejvíce vzrušující hra z celé Písecké skupiny! Skóre bylo těsné až do poslední čtvrtiny. Sršni Písek rozjeli proti Valencii palbu jakou jsme od nich ještě neviděli! Získali náskok, který si udrželi až do konce, když za ovace stojících fanoušků ukončili zápas 💥🏀

Get Better Academy 81:76 The Skill Factory

First game in Jindrichuv Hradec was really exciting! It was tight for a whole match. TSF had a tight for the first three quarters, but thanks to the amazing home fan base they could reverse the score and win in the fourth quarter! Guys from the GBA gained strenght and went for the win 81:76 Hned úvodní utkání nabídlo v Jindřichově Hradci parádní podívanou s napínavou koncovkou! Američani si po celé tři čtvrtiny drželi mírný náskok, ale i díky úžasné podpoře domácích fanoušků přišel ve čtvrté čtvrtině zlom. Borci z GBA napli síly a bojovali až do vítězného konce! After yesterday's successful entry to the tournament, Get Better Academy did not have the necessary energy and commitment today. Slovak team was excellent shooting and played well on both sides, so as like the GBA, they enter the tournament with the first win. FC Barcelona 89:81 The Skill Factory

The sixth match of the tournament was a great show for Hradec fans! We have seen a dynamic and hard physical game of elite teams. Barcelona goes towards when one of TFS's pivots got hurt and the other of them had to go to the dressing room because of fouls. The Americans approached Barcelona at the end, but Barcelona players were focused and did not get overcome. V pořadí šesté utkání turnaje nabídlo Hradeckým divákům skvělou podívanou na dynamickou a výrazně fyzickou hru elitních týmů! Barcelona využila převahy na pozici podkošových hráčů, když se u TSF vyfauloval jeden z pivotů a druhý utrpěl zranění. Američané se přesto v závěru Barceloně přiblížili, nicméně Barcelona se v soustředěném konci nenechala překonat.

The only way that the national team of Slovakia could second the superiority of the physical strength of Barcelona players was to make the shots with high success. Unfortunately, they failed to do so, and so the difference in score still increased. Barcelona kept their distance and won 99:53. Jediná možnost, jak mohl národní tým Slovenska sekundovat převaze fyzické síly hráčů Barcelony, bylo proměňovat střely s vysokou úspěšností. Bohužel se jim toto nedařilo, a tak se rozdíl skóre stále navyšoval. Barcelona kontrolovala stav a zvítězila 99:53.

National Team Slovakia 43:97 The Skill Factory

Slovakia was entering their second game of the day and keeping up with the academy out of Atlanta TSF. However as the game progressed the overwhelming power of TSF and the tired legs of Slovakia equaled to TSF dominating the game with their best performance in the tournament. Slovensko vstupovalo do své druhé hry třetího hracího dne, přesto s Atlantou borci první čtvrtinu drželi krok. Bohužel, jak hra postupovala, unavené nohy slovákům dovolily nakonec TSF ve hře doslova dominovat. TSF tak předvedla svůj zatím nejlepší výsledek na turnaji.

Get Better Academy 81:96 FC Barcelona

The last game of the evening in Jindrichuv Hradec was between the home team of GBA and the Spanish powerhouse FC Barcelona. It was a battle till the last minute of the game, however in the second half Barcelona never allowed the home team to take the lead even though the gba athletes fought like warriors. Barcelona in the end deservedly took the win. Congrats Barcelona for making it into the finals in the YG tournament and congrats to GBA for a performance that deserves only praise 🙏 Večerní velmi očekávané utkání v Jindřichově Hradci mezi domácím týmem GBA a španělskou powerhouse FC Barcelona bylo bitvou až do poslední minuty hry. Barcelona ale ve druhé polovině nabrala náskok a domácímu týmu už nedovolila ujmout se vedení. Přestože borci Get Better Academy bojovali jako válečníci, Barcelona si nakonec vítězství zasloužil, především jistější rukou při střelbě. Barceloně gratulujeme k postupu do finále YOUNG GUNS! 🙏

In the match for 7th place the National team U18 of Slovakia showed a nice performance again, but the BK Rig were more successful and wins.V zápase o 7. místo předvedl slovenský národní tým U18 opět sympatický výkon, přesto byli úspěšnější Švédi.

IBA München 75:65 Get Better Academy

The game for the 5th place in the YG tournament was between the home team GBA and IBAM from Germany. The game showed a lot of class and at half time anyone could have come away with the win. But with IBAM keeping it consistent and GBA missing many shots late game IBAM came up with the win to secure the 5th place in the tournament. Leaving GBA with the 6th place . We thank IBAM for participating in the tournament 🙏💪 Hra o 5. místo v turnaji YOUNG GUNS byla mezi domácí Get Better Academy a německou akademií IBA z Mnichova. Vyrovnaná hra nabídla mnoho krásných akcí a ještě v polovině zápasu vůbec nebylo jasné, kdo zvítězí. Borci z IBAM však dokázali udržet svoji hru konzistentní, což u GBA chybělo a úspěšnost střelby se zhoršila. V druhé polovině tak si IBAM vybojovala celkové páte místo a domácí GBA končí na místě šestém.

L'Alqueria del Basket del Valencia Basket Club was getting the ball easyly thanks to their pressure defence tactic and they could score right away. The-Skill-Factory had individual actions and tried to keep up but couldn’t. Valencia got their deserved win and takes the third place in the Young Guns GBA Invitational 2020. Valencie svojí nátlakovou obranou získávala míče velmi snadno a tvrdě tak trestala laciný chyby američanů. TSF se díky několika indivoduálním výkonům snažila držet s Valencií krok, ale nebylo to nic platné. Bronz si zaslouženě odváží španělská Valencia Basket. Gratulujeme!

Sršni Písek 88:108 FC Barcelona

With the support of their loyal fans, the Píseks flew into the final match with the same power as they broke through in their group. The entire first half of the match was an incredibly balanced battle, in which both teams performed the most focused and energetic performance. In the second half, however, Barcelona showed incredible endurance and literally got Hornets tired. Písek began to run out of power and Barca gained a slight lead, which gradually increased. Although the Hornets were trying to get back to the match with a help of their fans, Barcelona controled the end of the game and deservedly became the champion of this year's YOUNG GUNS GBA Invitational. Písečtí vletěli s podporou svých věrných fanoušků do finálového utkání se stejnou razancí s jakou se probili ve své skupině k postupu. Celá první polovina utkání byla neuvěřitelně vyrovnaná bitva, ve které oba týmy podali maximálně soustředěný a energický výkon. V druhé polovině ale Barcelona předvedla neuvěřitelnou vytrvalost a Sršně doslova utahala. Píseckým začly docházet síly a Barca nabrala mírný náskok, který postupně navyšovala. Přestože Sršni s fanoušky v zádech nepřestávali bojovat, Barcelona pokořila stovku a zaslouženě se stala šampionam letošního ročníku YOUNG GUNS GBA Invitational.
