All sessions combine strength and cardio - we over 50s need both and we don't go overboard on either
Lots of variety to keep you motivated and having fun so all those reasons we need to exercise just take care of themselves
Working at your own pace at all times with encouragement but not punishment from the trainer :)

For early risers: 6 AM - 7 AM

Training all seasons throughout the year
Contingency for wet weather
You may exercise in light rain and on windy days - but not if it's dangerous :)
Bring a towel large enough to cover an exercise mat
Bring water to drink
Wear supportive training shoes and clothes you like to exercise in
Encourage each other
No dropping weights or equipment on the ground
Enjoy yourself and leave nothing behind :)
In a nutshell, I’m an educator. It’s what I was born to do and the common thread in what might seem a convoluted journey.
Nursing was my first career. Then I decided to be a scientist and ultimately became a university chemistry lecturer. Now I’m a personal trainer.
I was a late starter with exercise and am now, in my fifties, the strongest and fittest I’ve ever been.
Like many of you, I have osteoarthritis and manage it by maintaining strength and mobility.
I understand the struggles we face in middle age.
Empowering over 50s with knowledge and inspiration to embrace fitness, feel great and enjoy top quality of life now and forever.
Because I believe we can be over 50 and better than ever!

To be able to participate in an exercise session to help me to be able to be strong and healthy as I age is great. I enjoy being outside when the weather is nice, and it is a really nice start to the day. Kate does know her stuff and makes sure that we are doing the exercises correctly.
