I couldn't find anything to help me as a mum when my daughter was diagnosed. I wanted quick answers to find out what I needed to action & do. The early days were a lonely time, trying to find out what was safe, what I needed to buy. I spent a fortune in the Free From aisle only for it to be refused.
I went to the usual places - reference material given to me by the dietitian, info from Coeliac UK and various Facebook groups.
But it wasn't enough. I had questions. Always asking questions.
I'm a mum & I've a coeliac child. I understand where you are and what you need to do. If you aren't inside the coeliac world, you won't have a big understanding of it. Merely the words Cross Contamination will freak you out at the beginning. But, don't worry, it becomes easier. No, you don't need new saucepans etc. Maybe a new frying pan if scratched, but otherwise only minimal changes.
I wanted to help make life easier in the beginning for when your child is diagnosed. For parents like me who have that shock diagnosis & have to find a way to help their child. How to make changes & adapt family life easily.
You need to know how to do this quickly & easily as possible. I can help you, because I've already done it. And I did it the hard way. I didn't want other parents to stumble their way through the early days. I wanted to make it easy. That's what my e-book is for. To help you in the early days, help you find your feet, get used to reading labels, checking labels and helping your child.
