It's the event of the Season!!
What's a Gingerbread CAL?
Do you love building gingerbread houses at Christmas time? Do you binge-watch all the gingerbread house baking competitions on TV?
Me too.
That's why this CAL is for you. This is bound to be the most fun and unique CAL you've ever been a part of. I believe in telling a story with my art, so I have created a blanket that will allow you to actually "build" your gingerbread house the way you want it.
Do you like your texture chunky or subtle? Do you prefer more frosting or more candy? Do you finish your houses with drips or smooth edges?
I'll be supplying you with foundation pieces that you will have the opportunity to decorate with your choice of candies or frosting. All the math is done... all you have to do is choose.
If you're new to crochet you can feel confident that you won't be alone. Helper videos are provided for every step of the pattern. And if you join the Bizzy Crochet CAL Group on Facebook, you will have an international community to cheer you on!!

This week will be full of daily LIVE workshops so you can make stitch samples to play with while you're designing your Gingerbread House Blanket, and we will kick it off with a LIVE on Sunday, September 25th!

We are all about community so we will be highlighting guest designers throughout the CAL. Paid CAL participants will receive at least one free pattern from each designer, plus there will be a LIVE "get to know you" chat with our guest during their featured week so you can find out what their passion is.

Weekly Coffee & Chat
Every Saturday during the CAL I will be hosting a LIVE video chat where we grab a cup of something warm, I answer your questions, and talk about the CAL. At least one Saturday we will be discussing Christmas recipes and making Christmas waffles together!

Games & Fun
Just like in past years we will be engaging in games and fun activities throughout the CAL. I have a whole new list of fun things to do, and I am so excited to get started!! Can anyone say BINGO???
Pattern
Bi-Weekly Downloads
This year, the pattern will be provided in bi-weekly downloads on Ravelry in order to give all of our participants time to work on each new section and make the design their very own!
The pattern downloads will also include both US and UK terminology so you can work with whichever is easiest for you.

I've got your back every step of the way. Whether you choose to sign up with Ravelry or email, whether you join the Facebook CAL Group or not, I will be there to help you with any questions you have about the pattern. Helper videos with be available for every section of the blanket and I am only an email away.
