What is Tapping?

Emotional Freedom technique (EFT) also known as Tapping is a powerful technique that uses a combination of tapping on acupressure points and tools from positive psychology to help regulate the nervous system and relieve stress.   

The basic process involves focusing on an emotion or situation you wish to change and tapping on specific meridian points in the body.  This simple process sends calming signal to the stress centre of the brain and the negative feelings seem to decrease. Tapping has been shown to  re-wire the brain's stress response, and often creates lasting change.

Bec uses a combination of of breath-work, mediation and EFT tapping to guide groups through a session where you can feel the benefits instantly.

What to expect in a tapping Session

In addition to resilience workshops, away days and wellbeing group courses,  Bec offers drop in regular group tapping sessions.   

Group sessions can last between 15 - 45 minutes depending on your companies needs.  Sessions take place on zoom, usually in a regular time-slot.  There is an option to access recordings so your teams can tap at any time that suits them.

Facilitated by Bec Milligan, sessions are fully guided, and use a combination of EFT (tapping) with breath-work, visualisation and resilience practices so that each session leaves teams feeling restored, with stress levels reduced.  Tapping is a tool that goes beyond the session, teams are taught how to use this powerful technique for their own stress management. 

A huge benefit of these sessions is that nothing is needed other than a quiet space.  Staff can have computer cameras on or off on,  and choose to actively participate or just listen and take part in privacy.  No props or set up needed.  If the live session is missed, there is an option to catch up or replay and access audio recordings to support resilience in between sessions.
