How am I feeling today? is a year-long, undated, and structured journal that is underpinned by neuroscience and inspired by nature.
How am I feeling today? was born when Angie could not find a journal that would enable her to monitor those daily thoughts feelings and actions, that are so often missed but are paramount to our health and well-being. There’s space for planning and reflecting on yearly and monthly goals, daily space for meditation, gratitude, affirmations, and a way to monitor daily moods alongside the moon.
All the illustrations have been left blank to help the writer to relax the fear center of the brain, the Amygdala. It induces the same state as meditation by reducing the hundreds of thoughts per minute to a trickle, this enables the writer to practice mindfulness, quietness and reduces stress. Journaling is like having a bird’s eye view of your life, it allows you to brain dump, track daily growth, process, and accept how you are feeling, look at problems and find the possible solutions
There’s no time restriction, there’s no rules on what you write. Journaling reduces stress, anxiety, depression and promotes calmness. It improves relationships emotional resilence, memory sleep and prevents burnout .
“Journaling has become like a therapist and a loyal friend who listens and allows me to express all my thoughts and feelings without editing or feeling judged” Angie.
