HARNESSING THE WISDOM OF TRAUMA

"What is trauma and how does it show up in our lives?"

The seeds for this series have been planted since the release of the ‘Wisdom of Trauma’ documentary in June 2021. What started as a casual invitation to ponder on Dr. Gabor Mate's documentary in the comfort of Yoke’s living room, has over time blossomed into 5 one-day workshops.

This series continues in that spirit, bringing together conversations on the trauma deeply embedded in our lives, yet hardly spoken about.

An invitation to experience

Practices

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Each workshop will involve group conversations, personal reflections, and somatic practices that support a deeper look into trauma — the trauma that shows up in your life, in the people you care about, and in the world around you.

Repair

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Through carefully facilitated discussions, we create a safe space for you to share your struggles. We encourage you to positively reflect upon the takeaways and learnings most helpful to you in your personal journey of repair.

Community

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

We will share frameworks learned across different fields of study, alongside eye-opening snippets by trauma specialists. Find a place for yourself amongst a community of people on their respective healing journeys.
