ABOUT EVENT


ICPD Virtual Conference entitled “COVID Pandemic-Lessons Learnt”  is designed for physicians and health care professionals to address the much-needed information about this pandemic. This conference is aimed to fill the educational gap in clinical, epidemiologic, regulatory and innovative aspects of this pandemic.

This is a multispecialty conference, targeting audience from major cities and all regions in Armenia and Artsakh, but welcomes participants from interested individuals worldwide. Registration is free of charge in light of current economic crisis.

Vahe Khachadourian, MD, MPH, PhD is an Assistant Professor at the Gerald and Patricia Turpanjian School of Public Health (SPH) of the American University of Armenia (AUA).


Kim Hekimian, PhD

Kim Hekimian, PhD is Assistant Professor of Nutrition in Pediatrics (Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition) and the Institute of Human Nutrition at Columbia University.


Tsoline Kojaoghlanian, MD

Tsoline Kojaoghlanian,  MD. Her basic research has focused on adenoviruses and she is working in all aspects of COVID-19 at her organization. She obtained her Medical Doctor degree at the American University of Beirut in Lebanon.

Samuel S. Badalian, MD, PhD,  Chief of Department of Obstetrics and Gyneco at Bassett Healthcare Network in New York, Clinical Professor at Upstate Medical University, State University of New York.

George Melikian, MD, MPH

George Melikian, MD, MPH is a Board certified physician (in infectious diseases and internal medicine), medical director, and professional statistician. He is currently director of infectious disease at Facey Medical Group.

Shant Shirvanian, MD

Dr. Shant Shirvanian  attended Medical School at Ross University, where he graduated with Highest HonHors. He is currently practices full-time Critical Care in the ICU at Adventist Health, Glendale.

Khodam Rostomian, MD

Dr. Khodam Rostomian is assistant area medical director at Southern California Kaiser Permanente. He is elected member of Board of Directors of Southern California Permanente Medical Group.

Lorky Libaridian, MD

Lorky Libaridian is an Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School. She graduated from Yale School of Medicine and completed a combined residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Rochester, New York. 

Arbi Karapetian

Arbi V. Karapetian is the Technical Group Supervisor for the Technology Infusion Group at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena California. He holds a Master of Science in Spacecraft System Architecture & Engineerg.

    Armen Aboulian is board certified in General and Colorectal Surgery. He completed his residency at University of California-Harbor program and colorectal fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic.
