Welcome to the Insight & Connection community :)
I’ve just emailed you - please move my email to your primary inbox and/or add firstname.lastname@example.org to your address book to make sure you don’t miss anything.
I know you’ve joined this list because you want a strong relationship with your partner, and I’m excited to start supporting you with that.
Feeling disconnected from the person you’ve decided to make a life and raise children with can feel really stressful.
In my work as a BACP accredited counsellor specialising in relationships after kids, I support couples to:
- communicate better
- resolve resentments
- enjoy more intimacy
By intimacy I mean both physical and emotional closeness, because they’re two sides of the same coin, and more of one leads to more of the other.
With all the pressures of life as parents, we have to find a way to prioritise intimacy if we want to have a lasting, satisfying sexual connection.
When I started talking about sex after kids on Instagram, the Insight & Connection community was so keen to discuss it that this topic I had planned to cover for a few weeks ended up going on for months.
I recognised a real need, both for information about how to overcome the challenges and create the sex life you want, and for space to process the changes you’ve been through since becoming parents.
That’s why I wrote Back In The Sack, the sex after kids workbook.
See my website for loads of feedback from parents just like you who have made huge changes to their sex lives lives after reading this workbook (some alone, some separately and some together - whatever works for you is the best place to start).
