Eighty percent of chronic disease is attributed to lifestyle choices. Lifestyle Medicine is an evidence-based approach to preventing, treating and reversing chronic disease.
The six pillars of Lifestyle Medicine include: diet, physical activity, mental/emotional health, avoiding risky substances, sleep, and personal connectedness and positive psychology.
Each week, a local expert will present and discuss one of the pillars of lifestyle wellness in a 20-minute video. The series kicks off with a Lifestyle Medicine 101 session and will end with a live Q&A.
