I completely understand where you're at right now - I was there too not so long ago. Stuck in an endless loop of dieting, regaining weight, then losing it again. It was soul destroying. I was ashamed that I couldn't seem to lose weight and keep it off, fed up that none of my nice clothes ever fit for more than a couple of months at a time, worried what the constant cycle of weight loss and weight gain was doing to my health and desperate to find a solution.
Hi! I'm Karen, a recovering lifelong yoyo dieter and now a qualified Eating Psychology Coach and Intuitive Eating Practitioner.
Having yoyo dieted for most of my adult life I started to find it harder to get the weight off as I hit my late thirties and decided I needed to do something to lose the weight off one more time and keep it off for good.
I've always been a bit of a study junkie so I enrolled on a course and learned everything I could about nutrition. I qualified as a Nutrition Advisor and then after more studying became a Weight Loss Coach and then an Eating Psychology Coach. On my journey I discovered Mindful and then Intuitive Eating and the rest is history!
Now I'm on a mission to help other women break away from diet culture and learn that there is more to life than dieting and that if you switch the focus to healthy living rather than losing weight it is actually possible to lose weight and keep it off for good - all without being on a diet!
