“It feels like I’ve been stuck at the beginner level FOREVER no matter what I do…”
“Sometimes I feel confused because, even if I learn a new Polish word in its basic form, I do not always recognise it in a sentence.”
“There are simply too many endings and forms to memorise and it is hard to decide when to use the right case.”
And I believe you really want to speak Polish to your family and friends, so
But
What actually blocks you?
I exactly remember a moment when one of my students said:
"Magda, I understand what you are saying about cases, but can you please explain in a simple way: Why does the Polish language have cases? Why do I actually need to change these endings, because in English, I don’t!”
And it was that question which gave me a brilliant idea to create an online course which would explain in simple terms this difficult topic in a way that everyone EVERYONE, literally EVERYONE could understand.
“Master the Polish cases” was created to solve the problems of hundreds of students who are enthusiastic about learning Polish, but due to the lack of appropriate materials or lack of a teacher, become discouraged when cases appear on their way.
“Master the Polish cases” is a journey in which you will start with one ending, one word, one sentence, to finally be able to apply all these rules in casual conversation. In this course I want to show you this aspect of Polish grammar step by step, case by case, but I'll also teach you to look at the language in a very broad context.
You are not the only one who wants to learn cases and feel confident, relieved, proud like you had really accomplished something significant! Many students who learnt with me said that once they mastered the cases, learning Polish language became much easier for them.
Steven who completed “Master the Polish cases” course in Beta programme said:
My name is Magda Szczepaniak and I am a professional Polish language teacher, author and course creator.
I make my students' dream to speak Polish a reality and I prove that the impossible becomes achievable!
With 10 years of experience in teaching Polish I found Polish cases to be the most challenging topic for many students. I live in Australia and most of my students are from Australia, New Zealand, the USA, the UK and Ireland. I realised that English speaking students have a problem understanding cases only because they can't find any relation to them in their native language.
On the other hand, I knew that my method of teaching is easy to follow and is presented in a clear and understandable way.
I had many students who joined my individual lessons and asked: "please teach me cases".
I knew that if I can help my private students, I could help many students in the world, who are struggling with cases. And that was time I started thinking about making an online course - available for everyone. After months of planning, surveys, hours of talking with many students I created a course which is a revolution in learning and using cases in real life. My student who were testing my course in a Beta version said.
The course comprises 8 Modules.
16 high quality video lessons arranged in such a way as to easily guide you step by step through all the cases and through the whole course.
On the course platform you will find printable presentations, worksheets, downloadable notes and English transcripts which make your learning easier.
In this course I cooperated with a visual coach who drew visual notes for each Module. Visual notes will help you to use visual memory to remember differences and similarities between each case.
In this course I included 4 types of tasks to complete:
You will join a group for students where you can share your progress and homework assignments as well as ask for feedback and find a study buddy.
You can learn anytime you want and spend unlimited amounts of time watching the same lesson. You get 12 months access to this course and you can download all the printable materials, redo quizzes as many times as you need.
Master the Polish cases is an interactive online course, where I break down the cases into easy, understandable concepts.
My method gives the student representations along with watching, listening, reading, writing and memorising by colours and visual notes.
This course is a practical application of my academic knowledge and extensive experience in the form of a very clear, easy to follow, digestible visual programme.
Each video lesson was recorded in Polish with English subtitles, and you have access to printable presentations of these lessons as well as an English transcript.
The Visual coach created printable notes with the most important information about each case. Each Case is symbolised by its own human character and a different colour is used each time to help students memorise information about it.
There are 4 different types of tasks to complete: memorising, interactive quizzes, exercise we do together during the video lesson and a project to complete on your own with my feedback in a group.
It means you will get to take action, complete homework after each carefully designed lesson. Moreover, you can plan studying in your time without time pressure as you have 365 days to complete this course.
Of course! You can learn Polish in many ways and follow many teachers. You can try to follow grammar books or use materials available online.
But do you remember the time when you tried to learn for free, and you jumped from one webinar to another, from Youtube to Facebook, from one teacher to another expert? Eventually you ended up watching cats singing Lady Gaga ;) I believe you know what I mean.
I was there when I wanted to do workouts at home. I ended up watching 5 different videos for 20 minutes to decide which workout I should do today. After that I spent 10 minutes on the mat and then I had to go as my child's nap was over. Typical.
How long have you been learning Polish cases? What are the effects? Are you happy with how much Polish you have learn? Can you see much progress?
I run my own business and I know that all free knowledge about business on the internet is like crumbs. Yes, I can learn a lot, but I also know how much time it takes to find what I really need. How many YouTube videos I need to scroll to find what I actually need. How many articles to read to find something useful and valuable.
So even when I find what I need, how should I know it will work for me?
You don’t want to waste your time. You want to learn cases and start enjoying speaking Polish.
