SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE WORKSHOP

DR. MORGAN PINKERTON

Dr. Morgan Pinkerton is the Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems Extension Agent with the University of Florida, Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF/IFAS) in Seminole County. She is a graduate from the UF Doctor of Plant Medicine Program and she also received her Master’s in entomology from UF. In her current role, she regularly works with farmers and horticultural professionals in Central Florida and across the state. Through educational programming, field visits, and one-on-one communications, she is helping stakeholders increase the economic and environmental sustainability of their operations. She also teaches the public with the goal of increasing agricultural literacy to encourage more informed local consumers.
