Meet the Facilitator -
Tina Bailey
With over 25 years of non-profit management and development, Tina Bailey uses her experience and Business Management background in sales and marketing to help individuals passionate about serving others bring their vision to life. Tina has helped several visionaries create nonprofits, obtain their 501c(3) status, and have secured over a million dollars in grants; however, where she thrives is helping organizations create a strong leadership team, mission statement, and partnerships that help them stand out to investors and grant providers.
Working as a grant manager for a large nonprofit and seeing organizations, especially those led by people of color, miss funding opportunities because of a lack of vision, compliance and understanding of how a nonprofit works, has pushed her into a realm of education.
So often people are looking for money to fund their projects; however, they lack the foundation of a lucrative and organized nonprofit. Tina’s goal is not only to help those seeking to start a nonprofit but those that have been doing the work but seek direction and community credit.
Equipped with a Business Management degree, a Nonprofit Management and Development certification from Duke University, a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from the University of South Florida, and a Master Life Coach certification, Tina is ready to tackle the barriers that prevent organizations that are truly willing to do the work from being noticed and funded.
