And I am The Pet Accountant. I started my accountancy career working for my uncle in his firm, and 6 years later I’m getting ready to take over the business so that he can enjoy his retirement.
From my Bedfordshire-based office, through the magic of the internet and cloud-based systems, myself, Frank (my Dachshund) and Herbie (my Cockatiel) are able to work with people from all over the UK.
In recent years I have naturally gravitated towards clients that are pet professionals and I’m taking the family business in this new direction. Because frankly, if I wasn’t an accountant I’d probably be working with animals too.
