My name's Jeremy Cline and I'm the host of the Change Work Life podcast.

Why I include transcripts

I include a full, completely edited transcript for each episode of my podcast on my website.

There are various reasons why I do this, including:

• Improved SEO
• Greater accessibility
• Opportunities to re-purpose transcripts in future into blog posts, books, etc

How do you do yours?

The options out there for preparing transcripts of podcast episodes aren't great. There are very few (if any) services specifically tailored to the needs of podcasters and the choices are either:

• Artificial intelligence transcription services - good for a rough first draft but error-strewn and they usually take at least two or three hours to edit into something readable.
• Human transcription services - more accurate than AI but normally charged on costly pay-per-minute basis for something which isn't tailored to the needs of podcasters.
• Do it yourself - who has time to type out their own transcripts!

You've got better things to do - let me take the effort off your hands and give you back some time

You probably outsource a lot of what goes into producing your podcast already, whether it's the editing and post-production, the show notes, the social media promotion and so on.  You know that you're not necessarily the best person to do all this, your superpowers lie elsewhere and your time is better spent focusing on what only you can do.

That's why I'm offering you a fixed price (for episodes of up to an hour) done for you podcast transcription service - you send me the audio and you'll get back a fully edited, polished transcript which you can post onto your website, re-purpose or do with as you wish.

Maybe you'll want to read through the first couple of transcripts to check them over, but it won't be long before you're so confident in the service you're getting that you won't even have to think about posting the finished products on your website.
