    Q: Is the gym fee included in my membership?

    A: PowHERful is a strength training community with women in different areas in Phnom Penh. We are not a gym. In our perspective, it wouldn't be fair to include the gym fee because everybody has different preferences and will choose a location close to their home or work. So you should only pay for what you use. We can give you recommendations for different gyms in your area according to your budget.

    Q: Will I have a trainer?

    A: You will be guided by our team of coaches through our weekly meet-ups, chats and your training program - so that you feel confident what to do and how to do it. To keep our guidance affordable for the majority of women, there are 3-4 strength training sessions each week that you do on your own or with another PowHERful member. There won't be a trainer on site for these sessions.

    Q: Is this personal training?

    A: Yes, because the guidance for training and nutrition is personalized for your goal, experience and lifestyle. The only difference to the personal training you might be familiar with is that you don't always have a trainer on site for each session. Still, you will get all the guidance you need to feel confident in the gym and with the exercises.

    Q: Is this online training?

    A: We call it independent training and our program is a mix of independent sessions (where you train on your own so that you can fit it into your schedule and location best) and weekly in-person session where we support you with your exercise form and connect to other women.

    Q: I'm new to the gym, can I still join?

    A: YES, actually it's the best place to start! Most of our members are complete beginners and they learn a lot from the beginning through our guidance and support. We will welcome you with open arms.

    Q: Where is your location?

    A: We don't have one specific location because we want to support women to feel confident in their body no matter where in Phnom Penh they live. You can train at a location convenient for you. Our weekly meet-ups are in different gyms in different areas in Phnom Penh. PowHERful itself is not a gym, it's a strength training community.
