Upgrade Your Self-Care Belief System!

Free Psychology Month Webinar for Female Mental Health Therapists

Presented by Dr. Karen Dyck and Dr. Melissa Tiessen

Working in the mental health field, we frequently talk with our clients about the importance of self-care, yet ironically we can struggle with it ourselves.

Despite what we may privately think, this struggle actually has nothing to do with some lack within ourselves.

Instead, it has so much more to do with the beliefs about self-care that we have all been exposed to in our training and our socialization.  Beliefs that, while well-intentioned, often prevent us from doing what we need to do to take good care of ourselves and to prevent burning out.

That's why we think it's time to 'upgrade' our self-care belief systems, and replace the harmful traditional beliefs with more helpful updated beliefs that actually support our well-being.

In this free 1-hour webinar, we will discuss why we need to upgrade our self-care beliefs, how this relates to our 4 C's self-care model, and how to start challenging outdated beliefs and replace them with more effective ones.

We hope that in recognition of Psychology Month and all that mental health professionals do for others, you will carve out 1 hour to join us and do something for yourself too!
