Anything comfortable is just fine. Footwear should be smooth soles and low/flat heels. What you see in the videos is a good guide.

EastonSwing are well established West Coast Swing company based in London but operate all over the country. Founded by Lee & Fabienne Easton who have been teaching and building the WCS community in the UK for 20 years.
West Coast Swing is a smooth, slotted, improvised swing dance, based in California and rooted in Jazz & Blues music. It's inclusive and diverse nature sees it's popularity increasing.
