Communities: Rohingya & Bengali
Coloring is such a simple, fun activity that reaches children all over the world! We want to bring more color into the world, one coloring book at a time.

Update on our Rohingya Outreach
(November 2021):
Our local coordinator in the Rohingya refugee camp distributed:
250 coloring books
250 packages of coloring pencils
250 pencil sharpeners
He set up a series of 5 coloring competitions, which includes a prize for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
One scene was selected in the Coloring Book as the competition assignment.
The prizes were awarded to the students based on creativity & use of color.
Update on our Bengali Outreach:
In July, 2021:
Our local coordinator in southern Bangladesh set up a panel of judges.
We invited 250 students to participate in the competition. One scene was selected in the Coloring Book as the competition assignment.
We separated the students into 10 groups with 25 students per group. Each group launched their own coloring competition with facilitators.
December, 2021:
Thanks to an anonymous donor, we are able to provide 500 Bengali coloring books to children in the hill tracts area. These children have limited access to education and learning materials. Our local coordinator is building long-term projects with the hill tract community and we are grateful to be part of it!
These books will be distributed in January, 2022. We will be launching coloring competitions to go along with the book distributions.
Our goal is to find 10 more monthly donors who can commit to giving at least
$15 / month
to help us continue our coloring book project

1 pencil sharpener
At least $15 / month helps sponsor 3 children to participate in our coloring book competitions and receive their own materials.
Art Therapy
Refugees suffer from conflict-related trauma, which severely harms their mental health and stalls the learning process. Coloring is a therapeutic activity that is proven to aid in the trauma healing process.
Inclusivity
Our coloring books are culturally sensitive to promote diversity and inclusive learning. We conduct in-depth research to ensure proper representation of each culture.
Creativity
Marginalized children have very few educational or creative activities.
We provide a platform for creativity to ensure children have the opportunity to express themselves.
