Join us for the Remember Them SAL
Starting in September, we aim to have a completed quilt by November 11th which is Remembrance Day in Australia and some other countries, it may also be called Armistice Day.
2nd September Week 1 – Gather your supplies and sort your squares.
9th September Week 2 – HST and sew the background
16th September Week 3 – Trace, cut, position and press the applique pieces
23rd September Week 4 – Options to sew your applique pieces, by hand or machine
30th September Week 5 – Quilting options and ideas.
Then I’ll send out some gentle reminders to prompt you to keep going with your quilting before we bind our quilts in late October.
Wouldn’t it be awesome to have these ready for November 11th and share them online to honour our service personnel, past and present.
