What does a script supervisor do on a film set? Does it differ from film to TV? Why are they a Department Head? What do script supervisors do in prep? What are they talking about to the director, actors, writers and showrunner all day? What does a script supervisor's paperwork involve?

These questions and more are answered in this talk by veteran script supervisor Daniela Saioni (Suits, Shazam, A Simple Favor, Another Simple Favor, My Big Fat Greek Wedding), who has been training successful script supervisors internationally through her Director Whisperer Training Program since 1995.

About Daniela Saioni

As a veteran script supervisor as well as veteran script supervision teacher, Daniela has trained and coached hundreds of script supervisors in 28 countries, including a significant number who had never set foot on a film set or even gone to film school but went on to have satisfying, rewarding careers.


Danlela is based in Toronto, Canada and has worked on location on major motion pictures and TV series in 10 countries, and trains her students in both major international systems since this is one of the few key roles in film that travels.
