Many individuals often believe our wellness and overall health stops at physical and mental. However, to find a fully balanced life, we must take into account all 8 mutually interdependent dimensions. Our program helps each attendee find what their version of balance is and where they need focus.
Yoga is often thought of as a series of poses done on a mat for exercise or relaxation. However, this is just 1/8 of the yogi journey. A full yoga practice consists of ethics/values, meditation, breathwork, and so much more. Each limb offers us a way to find peace and harmony in our everyday lives.
This program combines didactic and kinetic learning to help your team reach their maximum potential. Our productivity, spirit, and overall wellness increase when we find balance & joy in all aspects of our lives.

Through sessions, workbooks, and practice, our program provides you with all the education needed to work towards balance in your wellness journey.

Each week, attendees will have a physical practice and meditation to fully embody each lesson and ensure its more than just something you sit through and forget.

We must learn to put what we learn into practice. Each session offers homework and accountability partners to ensure skills are being learned and processed to be used long after our 8 weeks together.

In 2016, Harvard Business Review did a study on businesses, to review their health initiatives. Their findings showed that the most successful companies built a work culture supporting healthy initiatives, seeking assistance in program implementation, and regularly reviewing/surveying what assistance employees need to remain consistent.
Emmy, founder of Rooted Oak Yoga, holds both her BSW & MSW. By the end of 2021, she will also hold her RYT-500 & 100 hour Trauma-Informed Certification. With a childhood full of trauma and poverty, teaching others the importance of wellness and healing holds a very special place in her heart. She brings her own story, experiences, and life lessons into her teaching and strives for an inclusive, diverse, and accessible learning environment.
