I was born in Mumbai and after a brief sojourn in the Middle East, I immigrated to Canada in 1997. My first job was that of an Account Executive in the IT Industry where I discovered that SOAP was Simple Object Access Protocol and not something that kept you clean. Oracle was not a character out of the Matrix, but a database. It was a steep learning curve but I survived, and thrived. I started writing in January 2004. After four years and countless rejections, my debut novel was ready for publication. The Third Eye won the Silver Birch Fiction Award in 2009 and I’ve not looked back since.
