What does it mean to be a pattern tester?
- You work up the instructions to a crochet pattern as written.
- Work within a specific deadline.
- Be on the lookout for grammar errors or any other mistakes.
- Ensure stitch counts are correct.
- Provide feedback whether anything is confusing or difficult.
- Check gauge.
- Report back your finished project measurement's as well as what yarn was used and hook size used to meet gauge.
- Take finished project photos.
- Optional - make a post on either Instagram/Facebook/Ravelry showing your project and tagging designers account
- Keep open communication with designer throughout the test.
- Testers receive a final copy of the pattern when the pattern is released as long as they completed the test. They can also choose another pattern of their choice when the test is complete (this second pattern option choice is new as of 6/2024)
Filling out this form will help me better understand what patterns may be a good fit for you to test.

Many times I will ask testers to add their project to Ravelry.
Feedback will include if you found any errors, if anything was confusing or difficult to understand, providing photos of your completed project.
