Did you know that sugar is more addictive than cocaine? It's also part of our everyday lives. When we celebrate we reach for sugar. When we commiserate we drown our sorrows in sugar. We use it to reward both ourselves and our children. And it’s extremely hard to give up!
As well as being highly inflammatory to the body, sugar causes cravings and weight gain, feeds pathogens and depletes nutrients. It also contributes to conditions such as autoimmune disease, cancer, diabetes and much more.
However it IS possible to enjoy the foods that make us happy, without the risk of blood sugar spikes and inflammation.

Kate Jay is a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and trained chef, specializing in gut health and autoimmune disease wellness. Having healed her thyroid disease and undiagnosed Rheumatoid Arthritis through food and lifestyle, she is passionate about helping people reach their own health goals in the same way.
