In this short course you will learn an approach to teaching foreign languages which focuses on communicative goals and vocabulary with grammar. At low levels especially this means a shift in the way we organise the syllabus, how we present grammar, how we think about error and accuracy, how we talk to students and the variety of conversations we can enable.
The course will look at some theory and principles with regard to the approach as well as lots of practical ideas to be applied in any class. The course will mainly focus on teaching English but will also look at the approach applied to other languages.
Each class will be approximately 90 minutes.
