CV Writing Services Terms and Conditions

Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the CV writing services provided by Dream Big (“we”, “us”, or “our”). Your use of our services is subject to the following terms and conditions, which you are deemed to accept when you pay for any of our services.

1. General Terms and Conditions

These Terms constitute the contract between Dream Big and the Client, and are deemed to be accepted by the Client when payment is made for the service.

A contract only exists when Dream Big accepts your order. We reserve the right to decline your order or to withdraw services/goods at any time without notice.

All prices and services are subject to change without prior notice.

2. Services Provided

Dream Big offers CV review, CV writing and cover letter drafting. We tailor these services to meet your specific requirements based on the information you provide.

Dream Big accepts in good faith information, which purchasers of its services provided, and is not in any way responsible for the accuracy of such information.

3. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

provide accurate, complete and timely information required for the creation/amendment of your CV and other related documents
review any drafts and provide feedback within a reasonable timeframe
understand that the quality and accuracy of the final product depend on the information you provide

4. Fees and Payment

All fees for our services will be clearly outlined before you commit to a purchase.

Payment is due in advance. No services will be provided until payment has been received in full.

Payment is accepted via credit or debit card. Additionally, bank transfers may be used.

All prices are in GBP and may be subject to VAT (where applicable).

5. Delivery

We aim to deliver your completed CV and/or cover letter (and any related documents, if applicable) within 5 business days, from the date of receiving all required information. This will be in Microsoft Word format.

All turnaround times relate only to standard Monday to Friday working days and exclude weekends and UK public holidays. On occasion, work may be undertaken over weekends and Bank Holidays but this is purely provided to enhance the service and as such is not included within the advertised timescales.

Drafts will be sent via email for review and 1 revision is included in the price. Further revisions may incur additional charges.

This work will be done remotely, via email, unless it is deemed by Dream Big to be more effective to have a telephone conversation to clarify information provided.

6. Use of AI

In order to enhance the quality and efficiency of our CV writing services, we may use Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to assist in the creation and optimisation of your CV and related documents. Rest assured that all content will be reviewed and tailored by our professional team to ensure it aligns with your unique career goals and requirements.

7. Cancellation Policy

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of purchase in line with the UK Consumer Rights Act Regulations, provided the service has not been started.

If work has commenced, a partial refund may be offered on discretion, based on the percentage of work completed and any administration charges incurred from processing of payments.

8. Termination

Dream Big may terminate or suspend services if the Client unreasonably fails to co-operate or communicate, without prejudice to the agreed fees.

If a client fails to respond to a request for information or queries made within a 14 day period, we hold the right to terminate the service due to lack of response. This clause relates to any form of contact including, but not limited to amendments, complaints and refund requests.

9. Liability

Dream Big will not be held liable for any errors in your CV or cover letter that arise from incorrect or incomplete information you provide. Our services do not guarantee employment, and we make no promises about the success of your job applications. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service.

10. Data Protection

We comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). Any personal information you provide will be used solely for the purpose of delivering the service and will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except where required by law. You have the right to access, modify or delete your personal information at any time.

Dream Big maintains communication solely with the individual taking part in the service. The Client may not be the individual who paid for the service, but they are the only individual who can be deemed as being the “client”. Complaints, refunds, amendments, communication can only be handled with the Client taking part in the service. Due to data protection we will not discuss a client’s service with any 3rd party.

11. Intellectual Property

All CVs, cover letters and other documents created by us are owned by Dream Big until payment is received in full. Upon payment, ownership is transferred to you. You may not distribute or use our materials for commercial purposes without our express written consent.

12. Complaints Procedure

If you are dissatisfied with our service, please contact us at lisa@dreambig-careersupport.co.uk. We will work with you to resolve any issues in a timely manner. If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it may be referred to mediation or arbitration as per UK law.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Amendments

We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to you via email or through our website. Continued use of our services after changes are made will constitute acceptance of the new terms.
