These 5-day camps are designed respectively for teens and tweens looking to increase self-esteem, improve relationships, develop coping skills, and establish a number of positive life skills.
These small group coping skills camps are limited to no more than 8-10 students. Utilizing a variety of skill-building techniques we will strive to teach students positive ways to cope with the challenges of middle and high school. We will focus on developing positive life skills and teach coping skills utilizing CBT and DBT skills. We will teach mindfulness skills, positive self-care, and focus on increasing self-confidence. Using arts and crafts students will complete a project that they can take home.
Each day students will have an opportunity to learn new ways of coping in a fun, activity-based camp.
At the end of the week students will leave camp with a variety of new techniques and strategies, and an increased feeling of self-confidence.
