Hollymead Elementary School PTO is excited to host the “We’ve Got Spirit” summer cheer camp. This non-competitive, skill based program is a great introduction into the sport of cheer. Kids will learn skills, play games, and participate in a showcase on the last day of camp. Whether they are a veteran or rookie, this camp is accessible to all levels and abilities. The program will be led by experienced instructor Katie Arostegui.

This is a half day camp open to all rising 1st through 6th graders.

Rising 1st, 2nd and 6th graders will attend camp in the morning-8:00 am - 12:00 pm.

There will be a short performance for the morning at 11:00 am

What to bring

Comfortable cross trainer or smooth bottomed shoes. No running shoes. Shorts (Soffe is recommended) and a cotton or breathable top. Hair should be up in a pony tail or in braids.

On Monday, please bring a solid white t-shirt (cotton) for the tie-dye craft.

Water bottle, sunblock, hat or other sun protection. Maybe consider water hydration packets on those really hot days. Bring a yoga mat or beach towel for stretching.

Arrive fed with a full nights rest! We will be moving the whole time and they will need a good breakfast to fuel their workouts. If they require a special snack, please pack that too. Otherwise a simple healthy snack will be provided (carrot sticks, applesauce, granola bar.)
