I'm Ilona, and my mission is to educate everyone about yoga.
I know what you’re thinking- Ilona, I already know yoga is about posing, breathing & chilling out. Yes, that’s what I always thought too! But as I started digging deeper and studying to become a yoga teacher, I realized it is soooooo much more than just that, and that’s saying the least. Yoga is truly a LIFESTYLE. Sure, Breathing is a HUGE part, but you don't just rush into poses. You clear your mind, become present, and focus on the breath in order to sink into a pose. What’s amazing, is that these techniques you use then trickle into your everyday life.
Try to reread that previous paragraph and replace "poses/pose" with the word “situation
” like this:
